Midland National also offers several riders you can choose to add to your annuity contract. Depending on your needs you might choose an income rider that gives you a guaranteed lifetime withdrawal benefit separate from your accumulation value, or a death benefit rider which allows you to build a legacy to leave to your beneficiaries. 

Most Midland National annuities also come with an annual penalty-free withdrawal amount, so you can maintain access to your money. Although most of their basic annuity contracts have no annual fees, there are percentage fees associated with several of their riders – the exact amount of which will vary depending on the specific riders you choose.
